Clean place with genuinely helpful and very amiable staff and stunning view of the lake. Functional & tastefully decorated room with a nice balcony and a safe. Perfect location near to the shopping street, the very upscale shopping area, and beautiful Lugano; easy check-in. Also, directly on the lakeshore. Simply no reason to complain, really enjoyable stay.

I enjoyed this hotel, it's clean and gorgeous. the staff were exceptional, overall. - I got a spotless and silent room with my own bathroom. - Incredible service was provided here. - What's more, there's parking underneath the building. - the hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. Staff members were incredibly helpful and accommodating. My room was clean, quiet, and had a private bathroom. the service provided during my stay was outstanding. the convenience of having parking available underneath the building was a bonus.

Historic-style building, good sized rooms with landmark view as well as a twin bed. Favourable location with good restaurant nearby.

The breakfast was very good and rich. The staff was very friendly. The location is top! Right in the old town and at the lake. Own parking lot.

But unfortunately we were not satisfied with the room. Very old and too small for 3 persons. The room would be suitable for max. 2 persons. For such a hotel at this location the drinking water was missing e.g. a bottle of mineral in the room. At the time of booking the room was also equipped with a shower, which unfortunately was not the case. We had a bathtub. Also a balcony was missing, what was the case in other rooms. Price performance unfortunately not suitable. There are 2-star hotels that can meet this need. At the check-out we also had no solution-oriented person or contact person in front of us. The lady told us regarding drinking water in the room that breakfast was top, then they could reduce breakfast and deposit drinking water in the room instead! Some hotels do this. We just wanted to tell you that such a nice hotel at this location and with good staff takes our request concerning drinking water seriously. It is only about a bottle of mineral! Incredible response from the lady at the front desk.

very centrally located, best shopping area, by the lake, traditional and historic interior

The breakfast was absolutely excellent with bacon, cheeses and hot offerings and had something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the marvelous and unbeatable location steps away from Santa Maria degli Angioli church. the hotel was in a lovely area, near to public transport, the cathedral in the old city-lake and the Grand Palace :)

The rooms here are not only well-designed but also super practical, with all the essentials like a safe box, TV, and even tea and coffee making gear - no need to run out for your caffeine fix! And let's not forget the awesome services; they've got a top-notch pool that's just perfect for some aquatic chill time 🏊.

Functional & spotless unit with a balcony. Large and amazing breakfast, a wide array of meals. Location very close to shopping area, the lake on the walking/shopping street and a museum.

Wi-Fi was pretty slow.

The desk was very helpful booking our city/lake tours. Breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed the various spaces the hotel offered us to relax in.(roof pool bar) Appreciated that the off loading of luggage from the car was easy because of the entry parking area. A very nice location within an easy walk of everything. Loved the spacious room.

The light from the walkway out front shined into the room around the closed curtains. The hotel was very expensive, as were all of the Swiss Hotels we stayed at. Did not feel they were especially good values. If we vacation in Europe again we will spend less time in Switzerland and more time in the neighboring countries. Sorry that these were complaints.

The staff was incredibly nice and consistently courteous. They offered an amazing meal in the morning. The room was modern and silent with decent views of the lake. I enjoyed having a safe box, TV, and tea and coffee making equipment in the room.

Location is excellent, a very short walk from the centre, and funicular rail from the main railway station. On the lake front and we had a fantastic balcony on the corner of the 5th floor with amazing views. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are a bit tired, although clean. Our room was a superior one but was still not large, looking on the floor plan some of the rooms would have been very cramped. No mini bar.
